Director, Product Management – Developer Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategy, roadmap, and product team for Zillow's developer platform.

• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Engineering to establish and maintain the multi-year vision.

• Formulate the strategy for AI-assisted and autonomous development.

• Propel the DevEx strategy and roadmap, encompassing the inner development loop, CI/CD, and release engineering.

• Consider internal teams as clients, leading thorough discovery processes and prioritizing developer challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Seasoned platform product leader (10+ years in product management, with substantial experience in developer-facing, infrastructure, or platform products).

• Highly technical and knowledgeable in AI.

• Possess a clear and assertive perspective on how AI transforms software development.

• Practical technical experience (in software engineering, ML/AI engineering, or DevOps/platform engineering).

• Outstanding collaborator and communicator.

• Leader of people and custodian of company culture.
