This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee Hers product communications across specified categories, ensuring accountability for business impact such as awareness, trust, and adoption.
• Collaborate with Product, Growth, Clinical, Regulatory, Brand, and Product Marketing teams to influence Hers product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
• Spearhead the earned media strategy and execution aligned with Hers product priorities, focusing on proactive storytelling and reactive engagement.
• Shape the representation of Hers products during editorial moments, influencer activations, and significant external events.
• Maintain alignment in external and internal communications to ensure teams convey a consistent and accurate product narrative.
• Develop in-depth expertise in Hers products and serve as the company representative with media, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Foster thought leadership among physicians, patient communities, and wider healthcare audiences for Hers.
• Direct communications for new category expansions in emerging areas of women’s health and diagnostics, including positioning and launch execution.
• Manage issues within Hers product categories, providing clear positioning and responses in complex or high-visibility scenarios.
• Simplify clinical, regulatory, and product complexities into messages that are clear, accurate, and defensible.
• Create and implement integrated communications campaigns related to product priorities, with defined metrics for measuring impact on awareness, trust, and adoption.
• Monitor performance, assess results, and refine strategies based on what drives impact.
• Lead planning, prioritization, and execution discipline within your area of responsibility.
• Partner with the Corporate Communications team on issues management related to product and category topics, particularly in high-scrutiny areas, ensuring timely and credible responses.
• 10–12+ years of experience in product communications, consumer communications, or similar fields.
• Deep understanding of DTC product-led businesses, particularly how product, growth, and customer behavior interconnect.
• Proven experience utilizing AI tools and strategies to improve team and communication effectiveness.
• Experience managing a specific area of responsibility from start to finish, including shaping direction and driving execution.
• Strong earned media background, with a history of successfully landing stories and establishing sustained narratives.
• Experience in media, influencer, editorial, and event-driven communications.
• Background in consumer health or other consumer-facing industries with regulatory or reputational complexities.
• Strong consumer instincts, with the capacity to translate product value into messages that resonate with actual users.
• Experience leading issue management within a defined scope, demonstrating sound judgment in fast-paced or ambiguous situations.
• Data-driven approach, with the ability to define success, evaluate performance, and adapt based on impact.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence Product, Growth, Clinical, and Executive stakeholders.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
