This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take direct responsibility for the Appraisal CE Membership and selected professions. Foster revenue, retention, and market share expansion while steering your team's performance across the wider portfolio with an aim for double-digit, product-driven revenue growth.
• Oversee and mentor a team of three by establishing clear objectives, providing ongoing feedback, and enhancing team capabilities.
• Exemplify the behaviors and standards you expect, while cultivating an environment where individuals can develop and excel in their roles.
• Delve deeply into data and market insights: Rely on dashboards to monitor revenue, enrollments, renewals, utilization, and profit margins. Analyze customer behavior, regulatory shifts, and competitive actions. Understand effective strategies and identify areas of friction.
• Be a decisive, hands-on product leader: Convert strategy into explicit product direction. Make prioritization decisions. Foster alignment across product, curriculum, compliance, marketing, sales, and technology. Propel the portfolio forward with urgency and clarity.
• Avoid waiting for complete information or a fully funded roadmap. Discover creative, resourceful solutions from customer pain points to innovative product resolutions.
• Conduct lean experiments, validate quickly, and scale successful outcomes. Speed and creativity serve as competitive advantages—leverage them.
• Collaborate closely with product technology partners to define and deliver new digital features that enhance learning experiences and yield measurable learning outcomes. Convert learner and market needs into a comprehensive digital product roadmap, while ensuring partners are accountable for quality, speed, and impact.
• Work in close partnership with curriculum and compliance teams to guarantee that offerings comply with professional standards, licensure requirements, and accreditation guidelines, all while maintaining agility and relevance.
• Detect opportunities for new products, bundles, pricing strategies, subscriptions, and lifecycle extensions.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to clearly and competitively position offerings.
• Dive deep into customer pain points, understanding not just their expressed concerns, but also their struggles and what would significantly enhance their professional lives.
• Engage directly with professionals, firms, associations, and enterprise accounts. Utilize customer insights to inform every major product decision.
• From conception through launch to optimization and retirement, take ownership of the product lifecycle with your team. Construct business cases, guide development prioritization, support launches, and make difficult decisions when products underperform.
• Identify and prioritize AI-driven applications that deliver substantial value for learners and the organization. Approach AI as a strategic capability, not merely as a feature that distinguishes our products in the market.
• Seek opportunities to strengthen our relationship with professionals by developing solutions that facilitate their daily workflows, career advancement, and long-term success.
• Enhance customer lifetime value by positioning McKissock as an essential partner throughout a professional’s career, not just at renewal time.
• Reject broken processes, unnecessary workarounds, or systems patched together ineffectively. Consistently search for end-to-end inefficiencies across the product and business—and rectify them. Establish scalable, streamlined operating models that enhance team efficiency and product quality.
• Over 7 years of experience in product management with a strong focus on B2C, direct-to-consumer, or e-commerce settings.
• Background in subscription, membership, or digital learning products; experience in professional education or credentialing markets is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Proven history of achieving double-digit, product-led revenue growth—not merely managing a portfolio, but actively driving results.
• Demonstrable ability to deliver products—experience in taking products from concept to market, beyond strategy presentations and stakeholder reviews.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, digital education products, or subscription models.
• Understanding of AI tools, platforms, or product development frameworks, along with a genuine interest in their application within education and professional workflows.
• Experience collaborating with product technology partners or engineering teams to define and launch digital features.
