• Oversee the daily and weekly operations of the field organization.
• Ensure projects adhere to: scope, schedule, and execution expectations.
• Assist project managers and field engineers in swiftly resolving issues.
• Maintain visibility across active sites, priorities, and potential risks.
• Monitor and support: revenue tracking and forecasting, project burn versus plan.
• Ensure invoicing is accurate and progress is tracked effectively.
• Align operational performance with headcount planning and utilization goals.
• Provide insights into business health and identify gaps.
• Manage the deployment of field teams across ongoing work.
• Maintain a balance of utilization within the group.
• Assist in hiring decisions for roles ranging from L1 to L5.
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast headcount requirements.
• Conduct weekly team operating meetings, covering: successes, risks/blockers, and priority changes.
• Emphasize focus areas such as safety training and consistency in execution.
• Lead and support field engineers and managers.
• Reinforce expectations regarding: professionalism, communication, and accountability.
• Foster a team culture that aligns with Fluid2Chip standards.
• Assist in the development and growth of field personnel.
• Ensure consistent adherence to: playbooks, communication standards, and expense/time reporting.
• Maintain accountability for operational hygiene across the team.
• Support new work through: staffing strategies, execution planning, and scope input.
• Contribute to planning that ensures delivery aligns with available resources.
• Extensive experience leading field-based teams in commissioning, construction, or mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience managing field technicians and site execution teams.
• Proficient in workforce planning, staffing, and capacity management.
• Familiarity with forecasting, invoicing, and project financial tracking.
• Strong grasp of field operations, project delivery, and execution workflows.
• Ability to balance leadership of people with hands-on operational contributions.
• Operational and leadership skills, with experience in developing and coaching managers and field staff.
• Capability to implement and enforce operational processes and standards.
• Strong project management abilities with the capacity to support multiple initiatives.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
