Director of Training – Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain reusable training deck templates, tailoring them for each client based on their environment, security context, and audience's technical proficiency before each engagement.

• Facilitate and co-present client AI workshops and security training sessions alongside team members from Personified.

• Regularly update and enhance training materials focused on usability topics, including 1Password, data retention, and various AI tools.

• Modify content and presentation styles to accommodate a diverse range of audiences and their varying levels of technical comfort.

• Produce original content and scalable curricula, including live session decks, written manuals, recorded sessions, and structured onboarding programs.

• Guide and mentor team members from different departments as they embrace new roles in security and training, fostering internal growth and confidence over time.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure that training materials align with current best practices and the specific environments of clients.

• Create documentation that allows a successor or new team member to independently utilize it without assistance.

• Collaborate with Client Support, IT Operations, and Engineering leads to ensure that training reflects actual team operations and client needs.

• Monitor training outcomes and make iterative improvements; evaluate effectiveness and adjust as necessary.

• Act as Personified's internal subject matter expert in training, AI adoption, and security awareness, empowering staff to build their confidence and capabilities over time.

• Work alongside marketing and partnership teams to promote these messages externally, attracting new clients and engaging a broader audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or client-oriented training and education, including a track record of leading or overseeing a training program or function.

• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical or security concepts into clear, comprehensible content for non-technical audiences.

• Exceptional content creation skills: capable of designing and producing original training decks, guides, and educational materials from the ground up.

• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities: poised in leading live client training and adjusting style to various audience types.

• Experience in mentoring or coaching colleagues, preferably across different functions as they assume new security and training responsibilities.

• Proficient in Google Workspace tools (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Meet); familiar with usability and security tools such as 1Password, passkeys, Microsoft products, and Slack.

• Proven customer service mindset and comfort in a remote, fast-paced work setting.

• Previous experience working with progressive, nonprofit, or mission-driven clients is advantageous.
