This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the technical, programmatic, and customer authority for the delivery of advanced test and evaluation products.
• Set STR as a benchmark in the industry for delivering advanced test and evaluation products within classified test initiatives.
• Gather and lead cross-disciplinary teams of specialists to create and execute intricate, secure testing initiatives.
• Oversee both internal and external teams and personnel throughout every phase of test campaigns.
• Investigate, pinpoint, and apply innovative technical strategies alongside program and technical leadership.
• Collaborate with customers to define problems, brainstorm solutions, and conceptualize tests across various conditions.
• Break down customer requirements and complex challenges into system concepts and actionable solutions.
• Engage with authorities and government representatives to guarantee compliance with regulations and legal standards.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with customers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop, assess, and document solutions, effectively communicating them to teams, management, and clients.
• Enhance team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
• Travel frequently to the Las Vegas area.
• Possession of an active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for special access programs (SAP); U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Profound knowledge of multi-domain, complex testing methodologies, encompassing design, development, requirements verification, test planning, execution, operational security, and support operations.
• Experience with Development and Operational testing across Western Test Ranges (California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado).
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering high-level presentations to clients and senior management.
• Background in engaging with decision-makers and customers to transform mission requirements into comprehensive solutions.
• Proven leadership and delivery experience on advanced development initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with internal leadership and external customers within technology and system development programs.
• Familiarity with technical reviews (System Requirements Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings) and cross-functional teamwork.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years, Master's degree with at least 8 years, or PhD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant RDT&E experience.
• Over 5 years of professional experience as a Developmental or Operational Test Engineer.
• Experience with risk management and safety protocols.
• Strong foundation in Cyber and RF testing methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community missions and acquisition processes.
• Familiarity with the United States Code governing Armed Forces and National Defense.
