This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Create technology roadmaps that support product strategies, scalability, revenue growth, cybersecurity, and operational excellence.
• Provide guidance to the CEO and executive leadership on technology matters.
• Assess technology investments and their measurable business value.
• Establish engineering standards, development methodologies, and best practices.
• Design, build, and scale enterprise-grade SaaS platforms utilizing modern cloud-native technologies.
• Lead architectural decisions for distributed systems, microservices, APIs, data platforms, and highly scalable applications.
• Offer technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, and strategic engineering decisions.
• Oversee the development and evolution of commercial software products from inception to market delivery.
• Convert customer and market requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead and nurture a distributed technology organization comprising around 10–15 IT professionals.
• Foster a high-performing engineering culture and mentor technical leaders and engineers.
• Collaborate with the CEO and CFO on technology-driven business strategies.
• Assist in enterprise software sales and customer acquisition by leveraging technical expertise and presentations.
• Communicate technology vision, architecture, and product capabilities to customers, investors, strategic partners, and executives.
• Engage in venture capital and private equity discussions, investor presentations, technology due diligence, and strategic technology assessments.
• Contribute to IPO readiness or public-market preparation activities.
• Align technology investment decisions with revenue growth and long-term business strategy.
• Over 10 years of technology/software engineering experience, including significant leadership responsibilities.
• Progressive experience in technology leadership, software architecture, engineering management, or technology management.
• Proven experience in architecting and scaling enterprise-grade SaaS or commercial software platforms.
• Strong technical knowledge of AI/ML, with familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic AI systems.
• Experience in leading engineering teams and establishing scalable software development practices.
• Ability to maintain technical engagement in architecture reviews, system design, and major engineering decisions.
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership and presenting technology strategies to senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial understanding of technology's impact on revenue, customer acquisition, product strategy, scalability, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities and executive presence.
• U.S. work authorization is required.
• Preferred strong experience within the Java technology ecosystem.
• Preferred experience in developing multiple commercial software products from concept to market.
• Preferred experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, AI platforms, or AI product strategy.
• Preferred experience in supporting enterprise software sales and customer acquisition.
• Preferred previous exposure to VC/PE fundraising, investor presentations, technology due diligence, or IPO readiness.
• Preferred experience managing globally distributed engineering organizations.
• Preferred previous experience working directly with Boards, investors, CEOs, and other executive stakeholders.
