Director of Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop and Expand Supply Chain Capabilities

• Design and implement scalable supply chain processes, systems, and vendor networks to support OPSWAT's hardware growth trajectory across APAC and globally.

• Establish the operating model — from sourcing to delivery — and create the infrastructure to maintain it.

• Hands-On Quality Assurance and Control Leadership

• Direct quality assurance and control across hardware assembly, imaging, testing, and packaging.

• Ensure that every unit shipped adheres to OPSWAT's functional, security, and branding standards — without exception.

• Warehouse Operations and Fulfillment Oversight

• Manage daily warehouse activities: inventory management, ERP data accuracy, and complete fulfillment workflows.

• Promote operational discipline in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

• Cross-Departmental Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Management to ensure supply chain execution aligns with product specifications and launch schedules.

• Work closely with Creative and GTM teams to guarantee that packaging and branding provide an exceptional customer experience.

• Vendor and Logistics Oversight

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners throughout APAC and internationally.

• Ensure compliance with APAC and international export regulations as well as hardware-specific controls.

• Shipping and Customs Operations Management

• Oversee comprehensive shipping operations — both domestic and international — ensuring timely delivery at optimal costs.

• Manage customs procedures, import/export documentation, and trade compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.

• Collaborate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to proactively address issues and maintain shipment flow.

• Operational Metrics and Continuous Improvement

• Establish and monitor KPIs across procurement, fulfillment, and QA/QC.

• Initiate continuous improvement projects that enhance quality standards and operational efficiency.

• Team Leadership and Development

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of supply chain and warehouse professionals based in Singapore.

• Foster a team culture centered on ownership, precision, and pride in their work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in hardware or technology, with a proven record of building capabilities rather than just managing them.

• Direct experience with global logistics, procurement, and fulfillment operations.

• Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, as well as demand planning and inventory control.

• Practical understanding of hardware QA/QC processes — including assembly, imaging, testing, and packaging.

• Strong knowledge of APAC export regulations, international trade compliance, and hardware-specific controls.

• Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.

• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment characterized by ambiguity.
