Director of Strategic Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main financial partner for the product team, delivering financial advice and support for strategic decisions.

• Collaborate with the product team to develop comprehensive business cases for new product initiatives, features, and investments, assessing potential ROI and financial implications.

• Create and maintain advanced financial models to project revenue, costs, and profitability, ensuring precision and alignment with business goals.

• Work alongside Product and Risk leadership to evaluate cohort performance, lifetime value (LTV), customer acquisition costs (CAC), and pricing/packaging strategies to enhance product gross margins.

• Compile and deliver clear and succinct financial reports and insights to senior management, promoting effective communication and decision-making.

• Foster connections between teams and ensure mutual understanding. Provide continuous updates to both the Finance (Local and Global teams) and leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in business finance or related finance-focused roles.

• Proven track record of working closely with product leaders to develop scalable products.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.

• Strategic thinker with demonstrated business acumen and strong quantitative abilities.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and developing business cases.

• Solid understanding of financial statements.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for converting complex financial data into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
