This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee, direct, and expand the social media department, which includes strategists, content creators, and channel specialists.
• Establish the team's operational model: workflows, content calendars, approval processes, and output quality standards.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations, offering strategic coaching and support for career growth.
• Collaborate with the Director of Client Strategy to ensure social media deliverables meet client objectives and align with account strategies.
• Take charge of the agency's organic social strategy across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and other emerging channels.
• Create platform-specific content frameworks designed to cater to each client's audience, industry, and brand voice.
• Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting structures to assess social performance across the client portfolio.
• Work alongside the paid media team to develop social content that supports paid campaigns and retargeting initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Creative team on visual content standards, campaign ideation, and ensuring brand-consistent execution.
• Assist in onboarding new clients by establishing foundational social strategies and initial content direction.
• 8+ years of experience in social media strategy and management, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position within a department or team.
• Demonstrated success in managing social media for multiple client accounts simultaneously in an agency setting.
• Extensive expertise in platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest, including knowledge of content formats, algorithms, and analytics tools.
• Experience in developing social strategies for regulated industries (healthcare, legal, financial services, home services) is a significant advantage.
• Strong content sensibility: you understand what captures attention, fosters community, and drives engagement.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying strategies to clients and motivating a creative team.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar) and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content tools and a proactive mindset toward their integration into workflows.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities within a remote, fast-paced team.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
