Director of Security Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the strategy for product and platform security.

• Lead and expand the security team.

• Take ownership of application security throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Design and deploy security architectures for applications built in the cloud.

• Establish and manage the detection and response program.

• Enhance the security posture of our cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.

• Represent Parloa's product security during customer interactions.

• Promote security practices specific to artificial intelligence.

• Collaborate with Information Systems & Technology on shared interfaces.

• Develop meaningful security metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in security, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.

• Extensive hands-on experience in securing cloud-native and containerized environments (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes).

• Strong background in application security.

• Demonstrated expertise in detection and response.

• Excellent communication skills across various audiences.

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

• A genuine interest in AI security.
