This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct, lead, and manage project oversight for the portfolio within the designated Business Unit.
• Offer suggestions and enhancements for assigned projects concerning budget and scheduling risks to ensure project health.
• Monitor and track the progress of the portfolio in relation to project plans, budget and cost tracking, customized reports, resource management, and capacity management.
• Develop and maintain weekly project status reports for complex budgets, including baseline versus actual costs, variance analysis, expense authorizations, and closure of purchase orders.
• Proactively tackle program challenges and diligently pursue unresolved issues that contribute to successful product delivery.
• Build and cultivate relationships with client team members.
• Establish best practices for processes and procedures to effectively measure and monitor project health.
• Recommend and implement strategies to enhance Project Management processes and templates.
• Communicate with all organizational levels regarding all project-related matters, such as project plans, risk assessments, issues, action items, scope definitions, assumptions, and gap analyses.
• Research and propose solutions to ensure adequate resource availability; provide accurate estimates of resource allocations necessary for project success.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee a team of Project Managers.
• Promote a collaborative and productive work atmosphere.
• Establish clear expectations, objectives, and performance metrics for the Project Management Team.
• Offer continuous feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and identify opportunities for skill enhancement for direct reports.
• Education - A Master's degree is required, preferably in Telecommunications or a related field.
• Experience - At least two (2) years of experience in the sponsored position or in a Project Management role.
• Special Skills - Demonstrated experience in leading project management teams for software development products in a client-facing consulting or professional services setting.
• Proven ability and experience working with product managers, engineering teams, and key stakeholders from various business functions.
• Strong customer orientation, ideally for deliverables aimed at third-party software developers.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and the leadership team at Next League.
• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to a constantly evolving business landscape, work independently, drive projects to completion, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Documented success in delivering scalable solutions for consumer-facing digital experiences.
• Experience in the sports industry is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and product owners.
