Director of Project Delivery

📋 Description

• The Director of Project Delivery acts as a senior leader within the Project Delivery Division, offering strategic guidance, operational oversight, and organizational leadership for the execution functions of the Division.

• Accountable for developing and enhancing scalable delivery practices, governance frameworks, resource management strategies, and performance metrics that guarantee uniform, high-quality execution across the organization’s federal and commercial contracts.

• Collaborate closely with executive leadership, other division heads, and business development teams to ensure successful contract delivery, support organizational expansion, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Supervise and evaluate the division’s contributions to the overall company profit and loss, utilizing the division budget as a key data point when making decisions that involve additional cost considerations.

• Ensure that division staff integrate into Lantana’s culture and are thriving in their respective roles.

• Participate in workforce planning efforts and ensure a long-term vision for developing a project delivery workforce that aligns with our strategic objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification with over 10 years of experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in a health, technical, or management discipline (such as health informatics, public health, information systems, computer science, or business administration).

• Proficient understanding of project management principles and practices, including experience in leading large federal contracting programs with responsibilities for budget, scope, schedule, and delivery performance.

• Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and guide high-performing cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Experience in managing delivery organizations within a federal consulting context.

• Extensive experience in Federal government contracting.

• Capable of making challenging performance decisions and exercising clear decision authority and ownership of outcomes.
