• As Flock expands, the intricacy of our Operations workflows increases correspondingly. We are on the lookout for a Director of Product Management - Operations to provide targeted leadership across Implementation, Delivery, Customer, and Supportability product domains and to act as a reliable product partner to senior Operations leadership.
• This position is accountable for establishing a unified end-to-end Operations product vision, enhancing cross-functional decision-making, and boosting operational efficiency through improved workflow design, automation, and practical implementation of AI.
• You will oversee a team of Product Managers, navigate portfolio-level trade-offs, and collaborate closely with Engineering, AI/Data Science, and Applications teams to translate business priorities into quantifiable results.
• This role reports directly to the VP of Product Platform.
• A minimum of 8 years of Product Management experience, including direct oversight of Product Managers.
• Proven experience managing internal tools, operational systems, or technical platform products.
• A track record of success in redesigning workflows or automating processes to enhance scalability, efficiency, or quality.
• Proficient in executive stakeholder management with the capacity to influence and build trust among senior cross-functional partners.
• Strong product judgment and decision-making capabilities in ambiguous, high-dependency situations.
• Comfortable engaging in architecture-level discussions, system/data flow analysis, and technical trade-off conversations.
• Ability to cultivate high-performing PM teams while maintaining a close connection to product details and execution.
• Experience in converting operational priorities into concise roadmap decisions in collaboration with Engineering.
• Capability to lead product partnerships with AI/Data Science and Applications teams at a strategic level.
• Practical understanding of modern AI and automation techniques, including the insight on when AI is the appropriate solution compared to simpler product or process modifications.
