• Take ownership of the instructional integrity and coherence of 95 Percent Group’s mathematics products.
• Participate in discussions regarding product vision and roadmap by advocating for instructional priorities and user requirements.
• Ensure that content aligns with evidence-based instructional practices and state standards.
• Facilitate the iterative enhancement of products based on customer feedback, usage analytics, and implementation experiences.
• Lead the creation and revision of math instructional content, which includes lessons, routines, assessments, and teacher resources.
• Oversee third-party development agencies and contractors.
• Manage and support both internal and external content writers by providing clear guidance, constructive feedback, and ongoing professional mentorship to ensure accountability for the quality and timely delivery of instructional materials.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to accurately translate instructional intent into both digital and print formats.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining content development workflows, templates, and quality standards.
• Represent the organization’s math products and instructional strategies at selected conferences, webinars, and virtual events.
• Present on product design, instructional models, and implementation insights to educator and district audiences.
• Work alongside marketing and product teams to create presentations, webinars, case studies, and other external content that effectively communicates product value.
• Regularly partner with product managers to define features, outline requirements, and prioritize content initiatives.
• Support marketing, sales, and customer success teams with product-focused insights into instructional design and classroom benefits.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure materials are practical, clear, and user-friendly in actual classroom settings.
• Provide strategic assistance to the RFP team in crafting district and state adoption proposals, and act as a presenter to stakeholders influencing adoption decisions.
• Engage directly with educators, district partners, and implementation specialists to comprehend classroom needs and challenges.
• Take part in pilots, reviews, and feedback sessions to guide product enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Mathematics Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional content design, or edtech product development specifically for math products.
• Proven experience managing content writers or instructional teams, with a history of providing effective feedback and promoting professional development.
• Experience collaborating across functions with product, design, or engineering teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple content projects simultaneously.
• Clear and practical written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong commitment to enhancing math outcomes through thoughtfully designed instructional products.
