This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee methane mitigation initiatives from contract signing through to commissioning and operational transition.
• Create and manage project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and deployment priorities.
• Implement standardized project delivery methods, governance structures, and performance metrics.
• Identify and alleviate project and operational risks to ensure successful implementation.
• Develop scalable operational frameworks to facilitate portfolio expansion and long-term asset efficacy.
• Coordinate efforts among Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Commercial, and Finance departments.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and service providers to guarantee work is conducted safely, punctually, and in line with project specifications.
• Manage contractor qualification, performance evaluation, and compliance processes.
• Build, lead, and cultivate a high-performing operations and project delivery team.
• Set clear objectives, accountability standards, and performance expectations.
• Develop and oversee operational and project budgets, forecasts, and resource strategies.
• Track financial performance and enact cost-control measures while upholding safety and quality benchmarks.
• Foster and sustain a robust safety culture throughout all operations and project activities.
• Ensure adherence to relevant environmental, health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in operations, project delivery, engineering, construction, energy, environmental services, waste management, or similar sectors.
• Proven experience in managing complex, multi-site projects and field operations.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and overseeing external contractors.
• Strong skills in financial management, project management, and operational planning.
• Preferred: Background in landfill gas, biogas, renewable energy, methane mitigation, carbon markets, or environmental infrastructure.
• Familiarity with carbon registry methodologies and MRV processes.
• Possession of PMP, PE, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent professional certifications.
