Director of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Manage daily logistics, inventory, and production operations while spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and scalability.

• Lead change management efforts, overseeing system migrations and developing comprehensive reporting frameworks to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Supervise daily operations in manufacturing, inventory, and logistics to achieve production, quality, and safety objectives.

• Collaborate with important external partners, service providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to implement cost-reduction, fulfillment, and streamlined supply chain initiatives.

• Guide organizational and process transformations, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder alignment, training, and team adoption.

• Direct the planning, testing, deployment, and stabilization of new systems (ERP, WMS, MES, or similar platforms).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in operations management within manufacturing, assembly, distribution, or warehouse settings.

• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement practices.

• Experience managing multi-site operations or scaling operations during growth phases.

• Knowledge of automation, industrial equipment, or advanced manufacturing technologies.

• Proven experience leading change management initiatives and fostering adoption across varied teams.

• Practical experience with system migrations or significant system implementations (ERP, WMS, MES, or equivalent).

• Strong analytical abilities to create and interpret operational reports, KPIs, and dashboards.

• A successful history of process improvement, waste reduction, and increased throughput.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Proficient in Excel, reporting tools, and operational software platforms.
