• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of government funding opportunities, encompassing RFPs, tenders, grants, and alternative funding submissions.
• Spearhead narrative development, facilitate cross-functional coordination, and oversee submission and quality control processes.
• Ensure all submissions adhere to compliance standards, align with evaluation criteria, and are delivered to a high quality within tight deadlines.
• Serve as the primary orchestrator among US functions such as Clinical, Legal, Finance, Product, Service Operations, and Account Management.
• Develop and implement a high-quality, repeatable methodology for procurement submissions.
• Create and sustain templates, content libraries, and standardized workflows.
• Establish clear win themes and positioning strategies tailored for government buyers.
• Continuously enhance submission quality through reviews post-submission and insights from win/loss analyses.
• Ensure uniformity and scalability between US and UK markets.
• Strengthen Kooth’s ability to identify and access funding opportunities.
• Monitor and assess federal, state, and local funding opportunities, including grants and alternative funding channels.
• Keep abreast of legislative and policy changes to identify emerging market opportunities.
• Provide clear, actionable insights to Commercial Leadership regarding funding access and associated risks.
• Establish structured processes for tracking, prioritization, and coordinated responses.
• Align funding strategies with service design and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with Commercial Leadership on go/no-go decisions and bid strategy formulation.
• Integrate funding requirements with service model design and commercial viability considerations.
• Transform external funding dynamics into clear internal priorities and actionable steps.
• Facilitate a seamless transition from award to contract execution.
• Lead internal coordination from the notice of award through the contracting process.
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance to ensure contracts are timely, accurate, and commercially viable.
• Track key requirements, deliverables, and interdependencies.
• Ensure a smooth transition to implementation and account management.
• Promote clarity and accountability throughout complex, high-stakes projects.
• Act as the central coordination point across Clinical, Legal, Finance, Product, Service Operations, and Account Management.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple concurrent submissions.
• Deliver high-quality outputs under pressure while maintaining a strong candidate and partner experience.
• Extensive experience in leading public sector procurement, RFPs, or grant funding processes.
• Strong knowledge of government funding and policy environments in the US and/or UK.
• Proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional submissions within tight timelines.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or public sector settings.
• Exceptional project management, writing, and coordination abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple high-priority workstreams effectively.
• Strategic mindset complemented by strong execution capabilities.
