This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +20 more states.
• Establish a strong pipeline of foundations with the ability to provide gifts ranging from 5 to 7 figures and beyond.
• Design and implement a comprehensive institutional giving strategy that aligns with Crisis Text Line's mission, priorities, and annual revenue objectives.
• Identify and prioritize a diverse array of private and family foundations, creating a prospecting process that effectively transitions opportunities from research to cultivation to solicitation with urgency and discipline.
• Lead the cultivation and stewardship of relationships with funders.
• Supervise high-quality grant writing and reporting efforts.
• Manage the foundation calendar to ensure timely and high-quality submissions across the portfolio.
• Leverage and mentor a Senior Grants Manager, reviewing and refining their work to uphold a consistently compelling narrative.
• Facilitate the involvement of internal stakeholders.

• A seasoned and successful foundation fundraiser. You possess a minimum of 7 years of fundraising experience, focusing on foundation relations and institutional giving.
• A strategic and thoughtful relationship builder. You invest deeply in both internal and external relationships.
• An outstanding writer and editor. You have the ability to convert complex programmatic work into engaging proposals and reports.
• A disciplined and organized communicator. You approach every external interaction with rigor and professionalism.
• A collaborative, cross-functional partner. You foster strong internal relationships and work seamlessly with program, finance, and leadership teams.
• A credible and poised external ambassador. You possess the presence necessary to represent your organization in meetings with senior foundation leaders.
