This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of FP&A, financial modeling, and long-term strategic planning.
• Direct investor reporting and create financial presentations for the board.
• Administer cap table management and equity-related matters.
• Supervise the maintenance and continuous enhancement of KPI scorecard reporting and financial dashboards.
• Assist in strategic initiatives including cross-functional analytical support, M&A, and fundraising efforts.
• Manage legal, insurance, and compliance issues as required.
• Lead the audit process.
• Support the development and execution of variable compensation plans, including monthly and quarterly commission calculations.
• Oversee the People Ops function, with an HR Manager reporting directly to you.
• Ensure smooth and consistent employee onboarding and offboarding experiences throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership on people strategies, compensation benchmarking, and organizational planning.
• Maintain and enhance HR policies, employee handbooks, and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws.
• Act as the IT and tool administrator for all corporate and GTM software, overseeing user access provisioning and de-provisioning.
• Manage the company's SaaS tool portfolio, including license tracking, usage audits, and vendor relationships.
• Lead negotiations for software renewals to optimize costs and contract terms across the portfolio.
• Establish and uphold processes for tool governance, access controls, and security compliance in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership position in finance (previously held roles such as Director/VP/Head of Finance), ideally within the tech/SaaS industry.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and modeling.
• Experience collaborating with the CEO and executive team to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Familiarity with navigating and utilizing data from CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP systems (e.g., Quickbooks, NetSuite).
• Proven experience in scaling financial systems and processes in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of SaaS tool administration, vendor management, and software contract negotiation.
• Exceptional communication skills to translate intricate financial and operational insights into actionable business strategies.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic startup environment, showcasing adaptability, curiosity, and initiative.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to effectively convey complex concepts across cross-functional teams.
• Take ownership of the systems, processes, and financial infrastructure that numerous DTC brands rely on.
• Enjoy high autonomy: you'll set the direction, make recommendations, and be the go-to person for solutions within the business.
• Make a strategic impact: you'll serve as a close strategic partner to the executive team, participating in discussions that shape the company's trajectory.
