This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Define the architecture of the E-House platform, encompassing layouts, structural standards, and integration zones.
• Create standardized design templates to minimize engineering efforts and facilitate scalable configurations.
• Oversee fabrication and assembly standards to guarantee consistency and manufacturability.
• Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives, integrating production feedback for ongoing enhancements.
• Ensure all products comply with relevant UL and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Program Management to synchronize Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain efforts for effective execution.
• Assist and contribute to the management of scope, cost, and schedule across various programs.
• Spearhead New Product Introduction (NPI) and aid in discussions regarding customer design and system integration for significant projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in power systems or modular manufacturing.
• Proficiency with E-House or integrated electrical systems.
• Experience in General Contracting or Building Construction.
• Familiarity with Motor Control Centers (MCCs), switchgear, and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
• Acquaintance with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor).
• Experience in EPC project settings as either a buyer or supplier.
• Knowledge of modular construction or skid-mounted electrical systems.
