This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical roadmap for Data Products, focusing on canonical data modeling and scalability of data ingestion.

• Oversee and enhance the clinical data ingestion pipeline for optimal performance.

• Manage the scaling of customer data onboarding procedures while continuously improving data hygiene, canonical storage standards, and the observability and monitoring of data pipelines.

• Facilitate shared funnel visibility throughout the organization and assist in creating a robust enterprise reporting framework.

• Champion the integration of an AI-driven Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing AI tools to expedite coding, testing, and deployment processes while upholding rigorous code quality and security standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with a strong emphasis on developing high-scale data platforms, distributed systems, and interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, CCDA).

• Demonstrated success in managing and expanding engineering teams that handle data-intensive workloads and intricate clinical data pipelines.

• Proven expertise in leading cross-functional engineering teams to deliver complex software solutions in regulated settings.

• Experience in implementing and scaling AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., AI code assistants, automated testing, or AI-driven SDLC) to boost engineering productivity.

• Solid background in building and overseeing engineering systems in highly regulated healthcare environments, with comprehensive operational knowledge of HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance requirements.

• A genuine passion for the healthcare industry and a commitment to leveraging technical skills to enhance patient outcomes meaningfully.

• In-depth understanding of the complexities and lack of standardization in clinical datasets, with a proactive approach to improving data integrity.

• Driven by complex technical challenges and dedicated to designing practical, high-quality engineering solutions through ongoing intellectual exploration.

• Flourishes in fast-paced, high-growth environments, demonstrating the ability to navigate uncertainty and align technical priorities with broader strategic goals.

• An action-oriented leader who takes full responsibility for system sustainability, proactively addressing operational gaps to ensure the team meets delivery milestones.

• A proven history of hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering managers, Tech Leads (TLs), and Principal Engineers (PELs).

• Established ability to foster a high-performance engineering culture centered on velocity, quality, and psychological safety.

• Experience in leading organizational change, including structural reorganizations and process advancements.

• Strong skills in strategic resource allocation, capacity planning, and managing technical debt within a fast-paced product setting.

• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, with the skill to translate complex technical constraints into clear, actionable business strategies (e.g., impact on HEDIS/RADV outcomes) for non-technical leadership.
