This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the engineering division of the organization.
• Oversee manufacturing engineering, process engineering, product engineering support, capital projects, automation initiatives, maintenance engineering, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop and implement the engineering strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Lead engineering teams across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance.
• Prioritize engineering resources to support production, meet customer requirements, and drive strategic initiatives.
• Foster innovation through the adoption of new technologies, automation, and process enhancements.
• Enhance manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Lead initiatives focused on process optimization and waste reduction.
• Support new product launches and ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Guarantee that manufacturing equipment and production systems fulfill operational requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations to address production challenges and enhance plant performance.
• Develop and oversee capital expenditure plans.
• Lead facility expansions, equipment installations, and modernization projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contractors, and engineering resources.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Advocate for Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Establish KPIs to evaluate engineering effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reliability, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Utilize data-driven decision-making to boost operational performance.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering professionals and leaders.
• Build succession plans and support employee development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans.
• Promote collaboration, innovation, and accountability throughout the engineering organization.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Business Development to fulfill business objectives.
• Assist in strategic planning, capacity planning, and long-range operational improvements.
• Act as the technical advisor to executive leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Proven experience in leading capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen with a background in managing capital and operating budgets.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in multi-site manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing.
• More than 5 years of experience managing engineering teams or large-scale projects.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
