Director of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Lead the engineering division for the cash delivery platform.

• Oversee a multi-year technical roadmap for the platform.

• Safeguard and enhance the culture as the organization expands.

• Manage engineering project delivery.

• Promote operational excellence.

• Act as the engineering representative at the leadership level.

• Mentor and develop engineers through one-on-one sessions.

• Establish and maintain high technical quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in managing engineering teams.

• A minimum of 10 years of overall industry experience in developing production software.

• Strong foundational knowledge in backend technologies (databases, cloud services, APIs).

• Proven track record in recruiting, coaching, developing, and retaining engineering talent.

• History of cultivating a robust engineering culture.

• Strong emotional intelligence, problem-solving skills, project management abilities, follow-through, and a commitment to fostering inclusivity.

• Proficiency in English is required.

🏝️ Benefits

• Base Salary: $200,000.

• Bonus at Target Performance: 15% (~$30,000).

• Estimated Total Compensation at Target: $230,000+.

• Annual Benefits Stipend: ~$33,427.
