This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Develop and oversee the project schedule and budget to effectively coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all development milestones related to PPA, interconnection, permitting, site control, and real estate curative work are completed in preparation for financing requirements and the Notice to Proceed (NTP) for construction.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle, which includes landowners, permitting agencies, regulatory authorities, interconnection utilities, and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) offtakers.
• Direct the creation and submission of permitting documents for solar and storage projects, including expansion and maintenance efforts.
• Oversee third-party consultants and contractors to fulfill necessary diligence items across a portfolio of projects.
• Ensure adherence to quality, budgetary, and scheduling expectations.
• Complete title curative items necessary for project finance, in collaboration with the Legal department.
• Prepare project deliverables and reports for executive leadership.
• Oversee and/or execute activities related to real estate, title, environmental, and permitting matters.
• Safeguard the financial outcomes of development projects by evaluating financial model feasibility, negotiating project-related expense terms and conditions, analyzing project financials, and achieving results in line with financial projections.
• Conduct project due diligence and perform risk analyses for business development and origination teams regarding potential project acquisition opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external legal teams in reviewing and/or drafting land agreements (including lease and purchase agreements, easements), title due diligence, and consultant services agreements.
• Collaborate with individual departments and engage cross-functionally with other teams within the organization.
• Maintain excellence in organizational aspects concerning project timelines and deliverables.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Experience:
• At least 8 years of experience leading renewable development projects from inception to completion.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the specific market relevant to the role.
• Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
• Skills/Attributes:
• Extensive project management experience in leading utility-scale solar and storage projects from greenfield to Ready to Finance (RTF).
• Comprehensive understanding of cross-functional responsibilities throughout the development cycle, including EPC, PPA, and financing agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of power markets, interconnection, and financing requirements.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating complex, high-value procurement and logistics contracts with global vendors.
• Proven ability to build, navigate, and manage intricate interpersonal relationships and conflicts, fostering collaboration both internally and externally.
