This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and assist in implementing SandboxAQ’s corporate development strategy, which includes identifying, prioritizing, and assessing acquisition, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities that align with the company's objectives.
• Oversee the complete transaction and partnership processes, from identifying opportunities and market mapping to due diligence, business case formulation, negotiation, internal alignment, and execution.
• Create the strategic and financial narratives that facilitate executive decision-making, incorporating market analysis, competitive intelligence, business model assessment, partnership theses, and financial modeling.
• Collaborate with the COO and senior leadership to evaluate where SandboxAQ should buy, build, partner, or invest to enhance growth and refine market positioning.
• Manage and nurture relationships with chosen strategic partners, including major technology, ecosystem, channel, and commercial partners, while structuring partnerships that deliver measurable business results.
• Work collaboratively across product, research and development, engineering, and business teams to convert technical capabilities into attractive external partnership and growth opportunities.
• Extensive experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategic finance, strategy consulting, business development, partnerships, or a similar field, with a proven history in complex strategic transactions or partnerships.
• Proven ability to negotiate and structure high-value, intricate deals involving numerous internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical proficiency, including experience in market analysis, competitive analysis, business case formulation, and financial modeling.
• Outstanding cross-functional leadership abilities, with the knack for driving alignment among executive, technical, product, legal, finance, and commercial teams.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, uncertain, high-growth environment, with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• A keen interest in frontier technologies and the capability to swiftly develop conviction in new markets, customers, partners, and business models.
