This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide executive leadership across all consulting projects to ensure successful outcomes, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Oversee delivery governance throughout the consulting portfolio, ensuring uniformity in methodology, reporting, quality standards, and execution.
• Monitor the health of engagements, including resource allocation, utilization, budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Collaborate with Senior Managers, Engagement Leaders, Project Managers, and Consultants to proactively identify and address delivery challenges.
• Establish and maintain delivery metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms that enhance visibility into project performance and team effectiveness.
• Foster accountability for project execution, ensuring deliverables consistently align with client expectations and contractual commitments.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for issues related to delivery, risks, and client concerns.
• Facilitate effective coordination among Consulting Services, Technology Implementation Services, PMO, and client stakeholders.
• Supervise capacity planning and resource forecasting to align the right skills with client demands.
• Continuously enhance delivery frameworks, methodologies, and operational processes to support scalability and consistency.
• Establish quality assurance standards for all consulting deliverables.
• Implement repeatable delivery processes that boost efficiency while accommodating client-specific needs.
• Drive utilization, forecasting, margin management, and operational performance across the consulting practice.
• Collaborate with the PMO to strengthen project governance, reporting, risk management, and resource planning.
• Review delivery performance metrics and pinpoint opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assist in the development and adoption of standard templates, methodologies, playbooks, and engagement frameworks.
• Ensure consulting teams have the necessary tools, processes, and support to consistently deliver outstanding client outcomes.
• Maintain visibility of delivery risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies when needed.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Managers, Engagement Leaders, Senior Consultants, Consultants, and technical specialists.
• Cultivate a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth.
• Create an environment where team members feel supported, empowered, and connected in a remote-first workplace.
• Drive workforce planning, succession planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Set clear performance expectations and support career development through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Advocate for Zaviant's values and ensure their integration throughout the consulting organization.
• Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration across Privacy, Security, GRC, Third-Party Risk, and Technology Implementation teams.
• Identify and nurture future leaders within the organization.
• Assist in proposal development and solution design activities for strategic opportunities.
• Offer delivery expertise during sales and scoping discussions to ensure engagements are structured for success.
• Support client retention and growth through exceptional delivery and trusted advisory relationships.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for enhancing service offerings and improving delivery capabilities.
• Maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and technology partners.
• At least 10 years of experience in Privacy, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Professional Services, or related consulting fields.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing consulting teams, client portfolios, and professional services delivery functions.
• Proven experience leading Professional Services, Consulting Delivery, Client Delivery, or PMO functions.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships and delivering multiple concurrent consulting engagements.
• Strong understanding of Privacy, Data Protection, Governance, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Third-Party Risk Management, and Security Governance principles.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks, including GDPR, CPRA, HIPAA, GLBA, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and similar standards.
• Experience overseeing or supporting the implementation of GRC and Privacy technology platforms such as OneTrust, ServiceNow, ZenGRC, IBM OpenPages, or comparable solutions.
• Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies, resource management, forecasting, utilization management, and delivery governance.
• Experience leading distributed and remote consulting teams.
• Proven ability to scale delivery operations while ensuring quality, consistency, and client satisfaction.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field.
