This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Create and implement sophisticated statistical, machine learning, and AI models that support decision-making in insurance, actuarial, claims, and investment sectors.
• Develop and provide LLM-enabled analytics and Deep Research solutions, utilizing RAG-based methods to analyze both structured and unstructured data.
• Conduct hands-on data analysis, feature engineering, and model creation using enterprise platforms such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
• Establish model success criteria, validation methods, and explainability standards that align with business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to create models, implement monitoring systems, and manage the model lifecycle and drift.
• Employ responsible AI practices, including bias evaluation, transparency, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Clearly present analytical findings and model results to business executives and technical stakeholders.
• Work alongside analytics, engineering, risk, and compliance teams to ensure the effective and governed delivery of AI and analytics solutions.
• Extensive experience in Python and SQL, along with production system development expertise.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience in API development, data pipelines, and system integration.
• Background in monitoring, CI/CD, and the operational lifecycle management of AI systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver intricate solutions.
• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in delivering production AI/ML and/or GenAI solutions, including RAG, agents, or similar technologies.
