Junior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Investigate, cleanse, and analyze extensive datasets (both structured and unstructured) to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.

• Design, train, and validate predictive and prescriptive Machine Learning models (including regression, classification, clustering, time series, etc.).

• Conduct thorough statistical analyses and hypothesis testing to validate business assumptions.

• Convert complex mathematical metrics into reports and dashboards (Data Storytelling) for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Partner with data engineers to create efficient data pipelines that support scalable model integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in: Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, SciPy) or R.

• Skilled in data querying and manipulation tools: advanced SQL.

• Practical experience with Machine Learning frameworks (XGBoost, LightGBM) and Deep Learning (TensorFlow or PyTorch).

• In-depth understanding of Statistics (probability, regression, A/B testing) and Linear Algebra.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
