This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Take ownership and expand a global Application Management function that supports mission-critical client environments across various regions.
• Develop and implement a standardized global operating model, which includes SLAs, KPIs, and delivery frameworks.
• Promote consistency, quality, and ongoing improvement across teams distributed geographically.
• Ensure compliance with regional regulations, operational standards, and client-specific needs.
• Lead the U.S.-based managed solutions organization, fully accountable for the outcomes of service delivery.
• Guarantee seamless integration across infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Act as the executive escalation point for critical client and operational challenges.
• Build and expand a modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function focused on reliability, automation, and observability.
• Set reliability targets, error budgets, and standards for operational maturity.
• Integrate SRE principles into all service delivery teams.
• Promote the adoption of proactive, automated, and self-healing operational models.
• Define, develop, and scale new managed service offerings, such as Interface-as-a-Service.
• Lead the integration of AI-driven capabilities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Create a global, repeatable model for client upgrades across various platforms and regions.
• Act as a senior leader across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
• Engage directly with strategic clients and executive stakeholders.
• Provide clear, data-driven reports on performance, risks, and transformation initiatives.
• Influence roadmap and investment decisions based on operational insights.
• Over 15 years of experience in enterprise software, healthcare IT, or managed services.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, globally distributed teams.
• Demonstrated success in operating at a senior leadership (VP-equivalent) level.
• Strong history of managing mission-critical application environments or SaaS operations.
• Experience in building and scaling SRE or reliability-focused organizations.
• Extensive experience with HealthShare, TrakCare, HealthConnect / HealthConnect Cloud, and the IRIS data platform.
• Solid understanding of InterSystems-based architectures, interoperability, and operational models.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments (both public and private cloud).
• Strong knowledge of integration frameworks and interface engines.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident management tools.
• Experience in applying AI and automation within enterprise or operational settings.
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts and their enterprise applications.
• Ability to translate emerging technologies into scalable service offerings.
• Operates with VP-level ownership, autonomy, and decision-making capabilities.
• Brings clarity and structure to complex, global operations.
• Balances long-term strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• Builds and leads high-performing, accountable teams.
• Cultivates a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Communicates effectively with both executive and technical audiences.
