• Act as the functional manager for a diverse AI team comprising AI engineers, AI architects, and data engineers.
• Have comprehensive responsibilities regarding people leadership, including hiring, career advancement, technical skill enhancement, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across corporate functions and business units to pinpoint high-value AI use cases, convert business requirements into AI solutions, and prioritize initiatives based on their impact and feasibility.
• Guide teams through the complete AI lifecycle, encompassing problem framing, solution design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure that AI solutions are scalable, reliable, explainable, adhere to responsible AI principles, and follow established MLOps practices.
• Establish success metrics and KPIs for AI initiatives; assess, communicate, and continually enhance the business value and ROI of AI projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, IT, security, legal, and compliance teams to deliver AI solutions efficiently. Communicate effectively and confidently with senior and executive stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field AND 10 years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 16 years of equivalent job-related experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in AI/ML roles, demonstrating a history of delivering production AI solutions.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and developing technical teams.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory, with regular collaboration across global teams.
• Strong grounding in traditional AI and machine learning techniques, including deep learning, decision trees, random forests, optimization techniques, and statistical modeling.
• Practical experience with contemporary AI approaches, such as large language models (LLMs), transformer architectures, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, Agentic AI, and autonomous or semi-autonomous AI architectures.
