Director of AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Spearhead applied AI research in large language models (LLMs), agent frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and multimodal document comprehension.

• Propel productization efforts: convert prototypes into scalable, dependable SaaS and on-premises solutions.

• Craft and enhance AI pipelines for automation, including prompting, orchestration, validation, and continuous learning.

• Partner with Product, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer needs are transformed into robust AI functionalities.

• Mentor and cultivate AI engineers, delivery specialists, and researchers while contributing to the definition of team structure.

• Represent the company’s AI vision both internally and externally, engaging with strategic partners and enterprise clients.

• Maintain a balance between experimentation and delivery: prioritize speed while ensuring enterprise-grade quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and MCP.

• Proven success in AI productization, demonstrating the ability to build features that extend beyond prototypes.

• Familiarity with enterprise automation sectors, including finance, global business services (GBS), and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, and Workday.

• Established capability to collaborate across functions with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.

• Leadership skills: capable of coaching, mentoring, and inspiring a growing AI team.
