Director – Native American Financial Services PM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee all elements of a Native American Financial Services (NAFS) credit portfolio for tribal clients.

• Initiate, assess, structure, and finalize commercial loan transactions while adhering to credit and regulatory standards.

• Enhance, deepen, and maintain profitable customer relationships by assessing and mitigating related business risks.

• Holds the primary accountability for credit management and monitoring risks within the Commercial portfolio.

• Accountable for the quality of underwriting, portfolio administration, and overall credit standards of the assigned portfolio.

• Aids in enhancing customer relationships by collaborating directly with Relationship Managers and other team members.

• Oversees delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing bases, and portfolio evaluations, among other tasks.

• Verify and ensure the creditworthiness of customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking Portfolio Management, including underwriting.

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related business field.

• Previous experience in negotiating, structuring, and concluding complex commercial loan transactions.

• Experience in Native American Financial Services, Government, Commercial Gaming, Healthcare, and/or General Non-Profit lending.

• Comprehensive understanding of various software applications, including Word and Excel, with the ability to swiftly learn new systems/software.

• Experience with legal documentation.

• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities.

• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
