This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain a pipeline of opportunities through proactive client relationship management, strategic research, and close collaboration with the Market Intelligence team.
• Spearhead business development initiatives and drive targeted project pursuits within TEECOM’s markets, aligning client needs with TEECOM’s solutions.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with client and partner organizations that have a gap in technology services, establishing TEECOM as their preferred service provider.
• Actively participate in monthly and quarterly Leadership Team meetings, contributing to problem-solving, operational alignment, and strategic initiatives for the firm's growth.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team to formulate annual client relations and sales strategies for specific target markets and accounts, ensuring alignment with TEECOM’s growth objectives.
• Gather insights and identify new client and channel partners (architects, engineers, General Contractors, and Project Management organizations) to enhance TEECOM’s market position.
• Work with the Market Intelligence team to create detailed client organization maps, pinpointing key decision-makers and existing vendor relationships.
• Represent TEECOM at industry events to increase visibility, connect with clients, and foster long-term partnerships and relationships.
• Collect and organize intelligence that provides TEECOM with a competitive advantage in securing projects. Seek client feedback and referrals to enhance client relationships.
• Provide regular updates on business development activities, including lead status and prospective projects, utilizing TEECOM’s CRM tools and processes.
• Employ a solution-selling approach by actively listening to clients' business needs and aligning TEECOM’s offerings to effectively meet those needs.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Engineering.
• 15 years of experience in a sales role with a proven history of surpassing sales targets.
• Experience and an established network within the AEC industry are highly preferred.
• Strong passion for relationship building, technology, and the construction industry.
• Understanding of the professional services procurement process, including RFPs/RFQs, proposals, bidding, and awards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Results-oriented and highly ethical in practice.
• Methodical, tenacious, personable, and comfortable with prospecting and asking for business.
• Exceptional networking and interpersonal skills, both in-person and online.
• Highly autonomous, proactive, and capable of managing multiple accounts and pursuits simultaneously.
