This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +23 more states.
• Mobile Product Portfolio
• Take charge of plans, pricing, packaging, promotions, and the comprehensive device compatibility and onboarding experience for eSIM, physical SIM, and BYOD flows.
• Lead the design of activation flows, optimize port-in success, and manage customer lifecycle initiatives.
• Establish and uphold fraud prevention measures, eligibility criteria, and operational guidelines.
• Product Vision & Roadmap
• Articulate the product vision and develop a multi-quarter roadmap for Sparklight Mobile and convergence projects.
• Create and manage business cases, financial models, and investment proposals for mobile product strategies.
• Enhance adoption and household penetration through bundling tactics that integrate mobile with broadband, streaming, and connected home services.
• Partner & Ecosystem Management
• Oversee commercial relationships with MVNE partners, carrier associates, and device ecosystem vendors.
• Lead negotiations for platform enhancements and align roadmaps with external collaborators.
• Ensure partner readiness for new product launches and capability expansions.
• Performance & Growth
• Own and enhance key mobile KPIs: attach rates, activation success, port-in completion, ARPU, and churn.
• Examine market trends and competitive positioning to maintain Sparklight Mobile's relevance and uniqueness.
• Act as the internal advocate for the mobile customer, ensuring the product provides distinctive and meaningful value.
• Cross-Functional Execution
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, CX, Billing, Engineering, and Digital teams to guarantee seamless product launches and operational preparedness.
• Work alongside the Mobile Operations Manager to convert product strategy into consistent daily execution.
• Essential direct MVNO or MVNE operating experience.
• Over 7 years of product management or leadership experience in wireless, telecom, or a similar field.
• Practical experience with eSIM provisioning, digital activation processes, and BYOD onboarding.
• Proven success in expanding a mobile subscriber base from an early or mid-stage level.
• Experience in managing MNO and MVNE commercial partnerships, including contract negotiations and roadmap coordination.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with the ability to independently construct and justify business cases.
• Outstanding cross-functional communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels without formal authority.
• Strongly preferred background in converged connectivity products that integrate mobile with broadband, streaming, or connected home services.
• Experience at an MVNO functioning in a resource-constrained, high-growth setting.
• Familiarity with the cable/broadband operator landscape and its strategic connection with mobile.
