Director, Medical Science Liaison – Epilepsies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving team of epilepsy MSLs.

• Develop and expand a high-performing Field Medical organization.

• Set field medical operating standards and define performance expectations.

• Convert Medical Affairs strategy into practical field medical plans.

• Supervise KOL and center engagement strategy along with account planning.

• Ensure scientific exchanges are accurate, balanced, and compliant.

• Enhance team capabilities and prepare for pre-launch and launch activities.

• Collect field insights to guide medical and commercial strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, or MD; NP, PA, or RN with relevant experience).

• Significant Medical Affairs / MSL experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals, demonstrating leadership or field management capabilities.

• Proven track record of leading geographically distributed field medical teams.

• Experience in formulating field medical strategies and operating models in both pre-launch and launch settings.

• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and achieve cross-functional alignment without direct authority.

• Experience in supporting Market Access initiatives.

• Strong scientific knowledge with the ability to guide the team through intricate clinical and data discussions in rare patient populations.

• Exceptional cross-functional leadership, influence, and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel up to approximately 75%.
