This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the strategy and implementation of earned media within the Sports & Entertainment sector.
• Work closely with partners in influencer relations, social media, creative development, and analytics.
• Guide and mentor junior team members while establishing yourself as a reliable partner for clients.
• Handle both proactive and reactive media relations, providing mentorship to junior staff in pitching, strategy, and client services.
• Collaborate with account leaders to jointly define KPIs and manage reporting and monitoring efforts.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in PR and media relations.
• Established media connections across various channels, particularly in the sports and sports business sectors.
• Familiarity with AI tools for research, workflow optimization, ideation, and creative processes.
• Proven ability to craft and implement inventive media strategies for clients in sports, entertainment, and lifestyle.
• Skill in developing engaging angles, pitches, and storytelling opportunities.
