This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The Director of Marketing Website oversees the technical integrity, conversion effectiveness, and user experience of safeguardglobal.com and globalpeoservices.com.
• Lead a two-person development team and take responsibility across a wide range of areas—from Core Web Vitals and page performance to the velocity of A/B testing and user experience across different languages and regions.
• Manage technical SEO strategies, which include ensuring crawlability and structured data management.
• Direct the A/B testing program from start to finish, ensuring active tests are continuously conducted.
• Define and uphold user journeys for our primary Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), ensuring consistent messaging and calls to action that drive conversions.
• Represent Marketing Operations in cross-departmental meetings and handle a significant volume of incoming website requests.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in website development, digital marketing, or a similar technical role, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Practical coding experience with React, Astro, Next.js, or comparable web frameworks.
• Strong understanding of headless CMS platforms such as Strapi, Contentful, or similar solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical SEO, including Core Web Vitals, schema markup, international SEO, and crawl management.
• Experience in managing structured A/B testing programs using tools like PostHog, Optimizely, VWO, or similar.
• Proficient in Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, and Tag Manager.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with ADA/WCAG and GDPR compliance standards.
• Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
