This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the growth and enhancement of SS&C’s Managed Account Platform Operations & Services by developing scalable operational frameworks, workflows, and service capabilities that support middle office functions.

• Oversee daily operations for high-volume SMA (Separately Managed Accounts) and UMA (Unified Managed Accounts) programs, utilizing advanced middle-office and managed account platforms.

• Ensure efficient trade routing, execution support, settlement processing, and exception management across various custodial networks.

• Lead cash and position reconciliations, provide oversight for shadow accounting, and implement performance validation and reporting controls to guarantee precise client reporting.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance workflows, automate manual tasks, and expand operational capabilities across the platform.

• Serve as the main point of contact between Portfolio Managers, Asset Managers, Custodians, and outsourced service providers.

• Supervise GIPS compliance, adherence to investment mandates, operational controls, and risk management procedures.

• Collaborate with leadership teams to broaden managed service capabilities and support future growth initiatives for the platform.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing operations on leading managed account, wealth management, middle office, or outsourcing platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of SMA/UMA structures, tax-loss harvesting, sleeve accounting, and managed account operational models.

• Experience in building, transforming, or scaling managed services, outsourced operating models, or middle office organizations.

• Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams in dynamic investment operations settings.

• Capability to resolve complex discrepancies related to shadow accounting, reconciliations, data feeds, and platform integrations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience will also be considered.
