This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the Learning team at Affirm, focusing on the development of a robust strategy and the execution of design and delivery of solutions that enhance individual, team, and leadership capabilities to support our high-performance culture.
• Collaborate closely with members of the People team, business stakeholders, and leaders to ensure that the strategy, initiatives, and programs are well-defined, comprehended, and embraced within the organization, promoting consistency, continuous improvement, and a sustainable competitive edge.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams, such as Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness, to promote future programming and opportunities that enhance employee capabilities and readiness. This includes partnering with subject matter experts across Affirm to develop new resources and experiences.
• Develop engaging communications, engagement plans, and other internal content to facilitate change management efforts that support our People & Organizational Success strategy.
• Establish, assess, and convey relevant success metrics to stakeholders throughout the organization, illustrating the value of Learning programs, experiences, and investments in our workforce.
• You have designed and implemented a comprehensive learning and development strategy, scaling solutions within an organization that has a growing global workforce of over 2,500 employees.
• Over 15 years of experience demonstrating a blend of learning and leadership development, team leadership, design thinking, experiential learning, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven and evidence-based approach to decision-making and influencing.
• Innovative in learning modalities and learner experience, including micro-learning, virtual learning experiences, user journeys, and learning measurement.
• Experience in managing learning technology platforms, collaborating with People Tech teams and vendors to enhance products and systems.
• Excellent communication abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex information to its core essentials. Simplicity is key.
