Director, Knowledge Management – Innovation

📋 Description

• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of the firmwide Knowledge Management & Innovation strategy.

• Partner with firm leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment of KM & Innovation initiatives.

• Establish and track key performance indicators while providing reports to firm leadership.

• Lead, develop, and mentor a diverse team of professionals.

• Attract and retain top-tier talent.

• Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and business-oriented team culture.

• Act as a strategic advisor to business unit leadership.

• Design and facilitate cross-functional knowledge-sharing programs and training workshops.

• Work alongside IT, Legal Operations, and various stakeholders to assess and implement technological solutions.

• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the legal, AI, and professional services sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Extensive experience practicing law in a prominent law firm, corporate legal department, or governmental legal setting.

• Significant background in knowledge management, practice innovation, professional support lawyer (PSL), or a similar legal operations role.

• Proven leadership experience in managing and nurturing high-performing teams.

• Established ability to influence and collaborate effectively with partners, attorneys, and senior business stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of the legal technology and AI landscape.

• Proven track record of successfully leading organizational change efforts.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong strategic, operational, and problem-solving abilities.
