This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Director of the IT PMO is responsible for overseeing the IT project management process, which includes governance, team leadership, monitoring, prioritization, communication, and quality control.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing robust quantitative and qualitative metrics for project performance to ensure that IT initiatives achieve maximum business impact and optimal customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with executive leaders to translate corporate goals into a thorough, multi-year IT strategic plan.
• Define, maintain, and publicly share the organization's IT Roadmap, prioritizing cross-functional initiatives based on resource availability, financial returns, and technical dependencies.
• Create a standardized process for the intake, evaluation, scoring, and approval of new technology and product proposals.
• Manage the daily operations of the IT PMO, ensuring uniform methodologies are applied across the portfolio.
• Drive IT continuous improvement by embedding post-project retrospective reviews into IT processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Finance (Master's degree preferred).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project/portfolio management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within an enterprise PMO.
• PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP, or Agile/Scrum Master certifications are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in overseeing digital software development, user interface design lifecycles, and contemporary software testing methodologies (QA).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for maintaining alignment with executive stakeholders and external vendor partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially when addressing challenging, complex issues to develop solutions that target root causes.
• Capability to create and deliver training to new Project Managers or individuals entering the cybersecurity field.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority.
• Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful in managing shifting timelines and multiple deliverables.
• Proven leadership skills to establish and manage a high-performance team.
• Driven to cultivate relationships at the executive level with customers and vendor groups.
