Director, Insurance Operations – Compliance

📋 Description

• Ensure compliance with insurance obligations outlined in loan documents and investor requirements.

• Provide strategic oversight of the insurance function and manage daily operations.

• Drive performance metrics and uphold an efficient operational model.

• Lead the integration of technological solutions into insurance compliance workflows.

• Collaborate across departments to align systems and processes with business objectives.

• Monitor operational reports and key performance indicators for proactive management.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of lender insurance stipulations.

• Facilitate audit readiness by organizing data collection for audit purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though not mandatory.

• 8-12 years of experience within the commercial real estate mortgage sector.

• At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in managing teams.

• Strong capability to simplify complex insurance requirements into clear directives.

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing technology and data to enhance process efficiency.

• Familiarity with tools for workflow automation.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• High degree of discretion and professionalism.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry or enterprise applications.
