Director, Inpatient Coding and Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Accountable for ensuring the collection of high-quality information and the effectiveness of reporting systems for medical information management services.

• Oversee department personnel, programs, policies, and activities pertaining to coding services and compliance.

• Evaluate performance to determine the quality of coding and documentation within medical records.

• Supervise the department's compliance strategy and ensure it encompasses all facets of medical information management compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Administration or a related field is required.

• Must hold a credential as a Registered Health Information Administrator from the American Health Information Management Association.

• A minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience is required.

• Preference will be given to candidates with 15 or more years of relevant experience.
