This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Define and implement Nexthink’s global procurement strategy, operational framework, and multi-year plan.
• Create strategic category management across Software/SaaS, Cloud, Technology, Professional Services, Marketing, HR, Workplace, and other indirect expenditures.
• Establish category strategies, sourcing priorities, and a global pipeline that aligns with business goals.
• Utilize spend data, market analysis, and supplier insights to pinpoint cost-saving, demand management, supplier consolidation, and innovation opportunities.
• Lead or supervise significant global sourcing projects and strategic supplier negotiations.
• Drive quantifiable savings, cost avoidance, and broader commercial value.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of Category Managers.
• Establish category ownership, objectives, and accountability within the team.
• Develop standardized category management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Build succession plans, talent development, and future leadership capabilities within Procurement.
• Advise senior and executive stakeholders across Nexthink on commercial issues.
• Ensure early engagement of Procurement in strategic purchasing and investment decisions.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships, performance frameworks, and executive business reviews.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Security, Privacy, and other departments on commercial agreements and third-party risk.
• Enhance supplier performance, innovation, resilience, and sustainability.
• Create scalable global procurement policies, governance, and processes.
• Advance the Procure-to-Pay framework and procurement capabilities within NetSuite and related systems.
• Enhance spend visibility, purchasing compliance, supplier onboarding, contract management, and renewal governance.
• Identify opportunities for automation and procurement technology enhancements.
• Set procurement KPIs and executive reporting that cover savings, cost avoidance, spend under management, sourcing pipeline, supplier performance, risk, and compliance.
• Conduct regular business reviews with Finance leadership and key executives.
• Leverage data and market intelligence to uncover emerging commercial risks and opportunities.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management, preferably within SaaS, software, or technology sectors.
• Extensive experience leading global indirect procurement categories and managing complex commercial negotiations.
• Proven track record in leading and developing Category Managers and building high-performing procurement teams.
• Demonstrated capability in developing procurement competencies, operational models, and category management maturity.
• Strong executive presence with experience influencing C-suite and senior business leaders.
• In-depth expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with a history of delivering measurable business value.
• Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
• Experience working in international and multicultural organizations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Professional procurement qualifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CPM, or equivalent are beneficial.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Additional proficiency in European languages is advantageous.
