This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with fellow FP&A team members to effectively manage the company-wide financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with precision and strategic insight.
• Act as a strategic partner to assist in planning, evaluating trade-offs, and making investment decisions, while proactively sharing insights, recommendations, opportunities, and various methods to enhance both financial and business performance.
• Function as a dedicated FP&A partner to program teams and functional leaders throughout the organization, integrating financial insights into daily business planning, operations, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to assess strategic opportunities, challenge assumptions, and promote disciplined decision-making concerning investments, resource distribution, and portfolio priorities.
• Enhance financial systems, reporting, and analytics to facilitate improved decision-making and accountability across the organization.
• Advocate for the implementation of AI and automation within FP&A to optimize workflows, minimize manual effort, and create capacity for more valuable analyses.
• Ensure resource alignment with the corporate strategy; perform scenario analyses and risk/opportunity evaluations.
• Proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities, addressing issues early and proposing solutions that align with company objectives.
• Foster financial transparency throughout the organization by converting complex analyses into clear, actionable insights that drive quicker and better decisions.
• Assist with the accounting close process when necessary, collaborating with the Accounting team to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
• Over 15 years of experience in FP&A or a similar financial operations role, with a requirement for biotech or pharmaceutical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, along with a solid understanding of forecasting methodologies and clinical program accruals.
• Demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with executives.
• Experience in utilizing AI and automation tools to improve financial analyses, reporting, and decision-making.
