This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the centralized FinOps strategy across a global multi-cloud environment.
• Create and sustain advanced cost-allocation frameworks for all shared cloud resources.
• Oversee the financial implications of the AI roadmap and monitor current model usage costs.
• Manage cloud budgets comprehensively along with third-party hosting licenses.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for global vendor relationships and lead enterprise negotiations.
• Collaborate with Finance and Engineering leadership to ensure visibility on "Cloud TCO."
• Drive the growth of the FinOps team by mentoring and promoting their technical development.
• Minimum of 5 years in technology operations, procurement, or cloud finance.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a formal leadership or people management role.
• Proven ability to connect Finance, DevOps/SRE, R&D, and Product teams effectively.
• Established experience in production-grade environments within GCP and AWS.
• In-depth technical knowledge across contemporary cloud ecosystems, including Kubernetes resource management.
• A successful history of negotiating significant international contracts with leading technology providers.
• Understanding of the cost factors associated with AI, from API consumption tokens to the computational demands of model training.
