This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Lead the enterprise quality validation strategy for comprehensive business workflows, cross-platform integrations, and multi-segment technology projects.
• Establish standards and operational frameworks for integration assurance, release certification, automation, resiliency testing, and production quality validation.
• Provide technical leadership for intricate validation scenarios, including dependency mapping, risk-based test planning, automation strategies, test data requirements, and environment readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, DevOps, release management, operations, cybersecurity, and platform teams to manage quality risks, resolve defects, and enhance release preparedness.
• Promote automation-first and AI-driven quality engineering practices to enhance test planning, defect analysis, risk forecasting, release confidence, and quality insights.
• Oversee enterprise release certification, including readiness criteria, quality gates, executive reporting, risk escalation, and go/no-go recommendations.
• Propel reliability, resiliency, synthetic monitoring, smoke testing, post-release validation, and production quality practices for essential workflows and integrations.
• Define quality metrics, dashboards, and governance routines to offer visibility into validation progress, dependency risks, defect trends, release preparedness, and production outcomes.
• Build and nurture a high-performing quality engineering team while cultivating a culture of technical excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• 12+ years of experience in quality engineering, software engineering, test engineering, systems integration, technology delivery, or similar technical fields.
• 5+ years of leadership experience overseeing technical teams or enterprise-level quality engineering functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end testing, integration testing, release validation, or enterprise quality certification in complex settings.
• Practical knowledge of test strategy, automation, integration validation, production validation, defect analysis, risk assessment, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and production readiness.
• Experience validating intricate workflows across applications, platforms, APIs, data flows, and distributed systems, including reliability, resiliency, synthetic monitoring, observability, or operational readiness practices.
• Proficiency in leveraging data, analytics, automation, or AI-enhanced practices to improve quality insights, test effectiveness, risk detection, and release readiness.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills in a matrixed environment.
