Director, Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze data and develop strategic implementation plans aimed at optimizing production processes.

• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Lead and manage engineering operations within a critical functional area.

• Ensure the effective utilization of engineering resources to achieve world-class performance in manufacturing facilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering, Business, or a related field, coupled with 10+ years of pertinent experience in Engineering management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, including team development and management, is required.

• Previous experience in an engineering position is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP is essential.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are necessary.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.

• Capability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

• Strong interpersonal, technical, and presentation skills are required.
