πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Lead and cultivate a team of Employee Relations Advisors who collaborate across various business groups to support HR Partners and managers in addressing employee relations challenges within the workplace.

β€’ Investigate intricate, high-risk, or sensitive employee relations cases and actively supervise the workload of ER Advisors to ensure that ER case management is consistently executed with high quality and efficiency.

β€’ Offer expertise and guidance to HR Partners on effectively addressing employee behavior and performance issues, including aiding in the development and delivery of appropriate feedback or corrective actions that align with company values and processes.

β€’ Analyze ER data, identify key trends, and provide insights that contribute to the development of recommendations aimed at enhancing employee relations programs and process improvements.

β€’ Formulate and implement labor relations strategies that are in alignment with business goals, operational priorities, and organizational culture in both unionized and union-sensitive environments.

β€’ Oversee and support site HR/LR leaders in areas such as grievance management, arbitration preparation, and dispute resolution processes in collaboration with Legal and operational leadership.

β€’ Stay abreast of labor relations trends, legislative changes, and external labor market activities to proactively advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 10 years of experience in supporting Employee Relations initiatives within a matrixed organization.

β€’ Advanced applied knowledge of employee relations matters (including performance management), risk management practices, and investigative methodologies.

β€’ Proven track record in developing and managing a high-performing team.

β€’ Significant experience in conducting and overseeing investigations related to workplace complaints.

β€’ Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with various internal stakeholders, including internal/external counsel, HR partners, compliance teams, internal audit, and other business leaders to create and implement sound, balanced, and comprehensive solutions that reflect our cultural values.

β€’ Profound understanding of U.S. labor laws, encompassing the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), union organizing processes, collective bargaining responsibilities, and labor risk management practices.

β€’ Ability to influence senior leadership during high-stakes labor relations situations with sound judgment, business insight, and strategic decision-making skills.
